As of late I looked back on some of the more famous legend of zelda games and noticed that that link has a more menacing look in his 64 -Wii games. It seems link may be neutral (not all good not all bad) in the beginning and starts toward the dark side till he draws the master sword...


I know it sounds strange but let us start with Ocarina of time shall we? For people who actually played the game (and beaten it) know that there is a time where you fight dark link after you draw the master sword and seems to be a more skillful sword master than you are (since he is able to jump on to your sword and all you can do is swing it...). But this doesn't tell you much my proof starts at the duku tree if you look at links face as Navi is flying by as the tree is talking to you, you'll get a glimpse of what looks like a very pissed kid and some one who wishes he wasn't there. Then when you go to the Goron Mountain when you find the Goron Leader link looks even more pissed and again when he meets the zora king. When you draw the Master sword even when you transformed back into a kid his expression of disgust seems to disappear. At first I thought I was reading too much into it till Majora's Mask came out..


Well in Majora's Mask I noticed the same face when you fought skull kid and right before you turned all duku. And if you want to get technical I never noticed this till more recently when you get the oni-mask and transform into oni-link his facial expression changes completely to a evil like face.

Now we will go to Windwaker in this game it was very hard to find any correlation with link being evil...

In the Twilight Princess that is where I noticed the big change in links appearance and attitude in the game it seems to me like he didn't care as much and that he was even more groggy that ever and his creature is the black wolf in olden days that was a sigh of a bad omen and a sign of evil (thus the reason everyone ran away).

In Conclusion I can honestly say that Link has a darker side just by the evilness in his his and the counter balance of the master sword.
